The iPad Has Been Jailbroken

Here is proof-positive that anything is possible with enough hard work and elbow grease. And nerds, really creepily dedicated nerds. Redmond Pie reports that the first iPad has just been jailbroken. We didn't even have to wait 24 hours for a hack.
This jailbreaking was accomplished via an alliance of several different groups. The Chronic Dev Team, comex, and chpwn all worked together to gain root access and seize control of the iPad from Apple's mad clutches. You can go here for more details.
