Aftermath : The Sound of Thunder.
I've always loved the rain and awed by lightning. Trying to capture lightning has always been something i wanted to do but the first time i tried, i failed miserable. With 500 over shots taken in burst mode and not one single clear flash of light. Ended flooding my wood floor and nearly drowning my G10. This time luck was on my side. I was cooking when i heard the flash of light and the sound of thunder. I immediately dropped everything to grab my camera and tripod to setup. This time....there was everything needed minus the rain. GREAT!!
1. First Light
2. Enlightenment
3. Blast
** In the end it did rain very heavily n i was so preoccupied with my shots i forgot to close my window and again ended flooding my floor ...zzzzz =.=

thanks jonathan. simmon..erm frankly i cant be sure i remember staring stunned as it blasted down like slow motion. It was a crackle that turned into a thick white beam n i saw little red burning dots as it spread out. after it was over i was half blurred n dazed liao loh.

ne, arigato ~
actually its all luck as i set 8 seconds and keep pressing and hope it captures. burst mode on chiplak camera doesnt work to capture lightning apparently the probability is less then long exposure. i noticed my camera saves darn slow!!! each time it was saving n i saw a lighting strike i was cursing it @__@
100m is darn close wei....can feel the zwwwooosshh~
