Here goes again....
Was at Singapore Botanic Garden yesterday evening and managed only to take few snaps before the sun goes down the horizon.
Comment and critics are welcome.
Photos taken using D300 + Tamron 60mm F2, hand-held without flash.

Re: Singapore Botanic Garden random shots
Fred, its a lens created for both Macro and Portrait, suits me as I am on tight budget cannot afford to get 2 lens its very versatile lens except slow focus speed and under exposure problem on Nikon body, but otherwise its a killer As you can see Bokeh is kinda creamy although no where near the legendary Nikon 85mm F1.4 but good enough for me, and good value for money cheers!

Re: Singapore Botanic Garden random shots
Thanks guys & girls!
Somehow the macro photos of the flowers do not turn out as how I wish it would be, maybe its due to me hand-holding the camera rather than using a tripod (I am a lazy guy so setting up a tripod is too much of a task for me), maybe its due to my wrong choice of F size. But one thing for sure is that I have to learn from many of the Macro master here

Haha, finally someone who share the same thoughts as me.
Somehow I liked #5 the most, but I didnt have enough time nor idea to post-process it to make it look much better Bokeh is OK, but lack a bit of 'story' to it
Cheers!
Re: Singapore Botanic Garden random shots
well it reminds me of a miniature version of pine trees.
i like it coz of the different bokeh levels u can see i.e the front, the focused area the semi bokeh one beside it and the blurry ones at the back. Despite all the dreamy-ness, the clear gravel grounds the picture well making it a believable fantasy. The gravel also breaks the whole same green yellow tones unintentionally drawing your eye into the picture as it gives depth.
also it has a very dewy feel as the sunlight catches the fragile details bringing contrast and life.
