Referring to this? Well just need to make sure PM is sent and any repeat would result in a warning or something. Else keep editing and sending PM but nothing works.

Re: For those who forgot the NEWBIE rules and regulations set by MAX!!
Dear Admins & Mods,
Why the min word limitations? This would deter BUMP's, likes, acknowledgements of announcements, etc that are constructive from the newer members whom are shy or aren't composed to write what they feel about photos posted. Creative comments with 5 or more words maybe replicated ie "I sooo love your photo", or similarly will start to pop up. What's the difference of that with a 1 liner or an smiley? Same amount of bandwidth will be used be it 1 word, or 5 words..
If bandwidth is your constraint, then limit photo quality posting and size.. average photo with decent 800x600 quality would only be like <100kb.. Some post have like 20-30 photos, why not restrict like PM/PK to 5-10 photos a page.. hence you can share photos and receive comments while not too bogged down by the slow loading time for all the photos on the page.
IMHO introducing the chatroom will be another setback to the forum.. Most people will just chat and comment on the chatroom and you will see a lack of thread activity. That alone will suck up majority of your bandwidth as what happen to the other forums should it be made public (ie all forum members).. There's free resources available like meebo which some company block, which is a great way to have a forum and it can be password protected.
Just my 2cents..

Re: For those who forgot the NEWBIE rules and regulations set by MAX!!
Dear Shivan,
Thanks for your comment.. do you mean that we have to change the rules here? We have been following them since the first day and no complain about this... moreover, why those people kena spamming did not come and complain??
Secondly, "I sooo love your photo" is not a meaningful post... everyone can say that also... what so special about this?? A meaningful post must consist of why you like it and what you like. Our forum is to share information not to show face only....
Please discuss this under the topic complain/feedback... the purpose of opening this topic is to show NEWBIES better understanding of the rules and regulation.. Thanks.

Re: For those who forgot the NEWBIE rules and regulations set by MAX!!
CY: Currently we do not have a very clear cut of rules and regulations and procedures to follow.. but at the very mean time, everyone must follow what we have in hand. hopefully you all understand what i mean or else it will be very messy.
