Learning flash needs a lot of experience under different kind of situation..
night portrait, daylight portrait, bounce flash, direct flash..hampalang ada la....

I belif many here can teach you the basics during gathering.. Then the rest is about self discoveries.. u can try n learn them every time u shoot using a flash..Practice makes perfect! perfect

SOrry... cannot help u on this coz i also still discovering... But most of the time TTL works if not then manual and trial and error. I believe it will be easier if you 1st go thru the material available (TTL, Direct flash, bounce flash, FP, Syncronizing, rear curtain and etc.... ) in the internet 1st before approaching our Sifus. set ur flash to slave mode, then use your pop up flash....when the pop up flash flashed, the flashgun sensor will detect light from the pop up flash and will flash also....use for creative lighting/product shooting/portrait etc

can use flash gun to trigger another flash gun in slave mode too

please google for better explanation....lol

Slave mode means you can use the flash remotely. Put it left or right to create different lighting style.

Read the manual is the best while u r holding ur flash+camera. Try it when the manual show example. U will not know 100% but at least some impression. then join outing or our gathering, sifu-sifu will teach u basic how to operate. u will get to know sooner or later...

Most likely will be going, but if you're using Canon flash must find the Canon sifus Razz. Not familiar with the settings and all on the Canon units.
