Hi All, new member reporting
Hello All.... Chong Wai Kong here...
A little bit about me: -
I started playing with digital camera around year 2005 using Panasonic FZ3
Starting April 2008, bought the Sony Alpha 350 and been using ever since
Slowly buy buy buy and buy - photography is an expensive hobby
Now with Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6, Tamron 17-50mm F2.8, Sigma 70-200 F2.8 HSM Macro II, of course the kit lens Sony 18-70mm F4-5.6 and 2 manual lens, Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar Multi Coated 135mm F3.5 m42 lens and Asashi Pentax Super Takumar 50mm F1.4 m42 lens
Flash using HVL-F42AM and HVL-F58AM
Other stuffs includes an el-cheapo tripod, but can go up to almost 2 metres extended for my height and a manfrotto monopod... err... forgot which model, but it is the tallest extended cheapest available in the market
Shoot most - portraits and events, usually fashion shows I would try not miss
personal online gallery - http://chongwaikong.com
Personal info... well, single Male age 35 working as Technical Consultant (that I just joined this month) at Cyberjaya
Nice meeting you all

hi chong,
carl zeiss lens is top lens, must be expensive at that time, even now... hahaha
i read from other forum saying that manual focus lenses are much sharper than zoom lenses... pls post some photos taken by this lens... hahaha
Re: Hi All, new member reporting
derrick, most manual focus lens in the old days are sharper than zoom lens because there are prime lens. This is also one of the reasons why nowadays some people like to use manual focus lens because they are prime lens
I bought the lens last year at RM650... now it's worth RM250 because aperture spoilt, stuck at F3.5, but still can shoot sharp photos at F3.5
100% crop
