Some water fall shot
This is the water fall shot at Beech Forest in VIC. I only process one and there are more to come.
1. The invisible rocks
I don't know why the picture seems not sharp. THe sharper version can be viewed here: http://www.redbubble.com/people/passtube/art/6626502-4-the-invisible-rocks

Re: Some water fall shot
Thank you so much, CJ, Desmond and CY. I appreciate your kind words.
For the exposure, I set it to 10 sec, because if set too long, the water will be flatten out and lost the movement effect. For the treatment, I increase the contrast in CS5, then do some dodging and burning using soft-screen layer. I purposely burn the invisible rock to make it more visible, else it would be covered by white water flow. Then I make sure the burn make the white 's' remain at front, or the beginning to serve as leading line.
One problem with this image is that, I was standing in the middle of the water, and my tripot is not heavy enough as some water still passing through the tripot and this cause some vibration, and this results in not so sharp image. This is the part that I hate the most. I am going to purchase a better TRIPOT

Re: Some water fall shot
Nice pic there...
For my opinion, if the falling water is not directly positioned on the top center will be more 'WOW', just my 2 cents
