Hello everyone! My name is Tan Choon Yee, you guys can call me CY. I came across Photonian through Facebook when my friend, Chua Chee Yong was tagged in one of the albums. I'm turning 23 this November. I'm working in Infineon Melaka as a Process Engineer under Power Segment. I'm a fresh graduate of MMU Melaka as well, convocation was held last month.
Basically, I've decided to pick up photography as a hobby recently. Before this I've no experience in DSLR photography, mostly auto mode of my point and shoots and sometimes experimenting with various DLSRs owned by my friends. I've decided to invest in a D90 kit (D90 body and the 18-105mm f3.5/5.6G AF-S VR) as a starter. Will slowly expand my gears when budget allows. I'll need lots of guidances and advises from the experienced members here.

Thanks, will definitely go for it if I don't need to leave work late. How is the gathering usually like? Everyone bringing their gears along?

CY 2 our Photonian...well, basically da gathering is really great, we do chit-chating, sharing ideas & experiences, n some photography post processing technique...i guarantee u ll gain something during da gathering!
