Re: Marine Critters of Anilao Philippines
Good question, I myself is wondering where is the light coming from.changshong wrote:a quiry.. how you got so much light under water.. is it possible to bring in external flash.. or they sell under water flash also...??
From the built in flash of the camera maybe? Or there is a underwater case for flash guns? Hmm.

no20,school of trevallies, as a fisho like me i called them big eye trevallies. They are active at night and you can always find them hunting for small fishes at the back of your boat.Very good fighter with light tackle setup. just sharing my fishing philosophy here hehehe...perry i am not a meat hunter
Re: Marine Critters of Anilao Philippines
sorry i have been lazy.....
annebelle: anilao is about 3 hours drive from Manila (south bound). its kinda a peninsular attached to the main luzon island. anilao has garnered alot of accorlades as the best muck dive site in philippines. so its no where near the sipadan and the water could get cold in the winter months (25 degree).
Cy and Chan shong: Yes i use an external Strobe. an inon z200. due to the position of the internal flash, it would be advisible obtain a strobe to aid in lighting.
James: i have seen travellies (jack) hunting and they were ferocious. Thankfully they do not take an interest on us divers. and yes Manila and Batangas are both devastated from the 2 onslaughts of the typhoons and flash floods. I heard of very sad stories from a friend and although anilao is still opened for diving, no one is in particular diving mood there right now. hope the flood will eventaully fully receed and the nice philippinos could rebuild what was lost to the flood and typhoons.
