Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 Di II VC for Canon
Tamron has announced the availability of its 17-50mm f/2.8 Di II VC midrange zoom for Canon mount. This image stabilized version of the company's popular APS-C format fast standard zoom, announced in September, will ship from the end of this month. It is already available for Nikon with a built-in motor.

i not confidence on Tamro Lens. Coz my Tamro lens 18 ~270mm send back to the factory for claim. The auto focus motor no function. This happen twice to me. Really piss off. The first time, they claim new Len for me coz they accidentally lost it after repair.. Than this second lens also same problem.. I also send my D90 for checking and service since i'm afraid my D90 may be have problem. Any advise from you guys?

18-270 comes with built motor or using the D90's screw motor?

Hmm, compatibility between bodies. You're using D90, so no issues with that. The other issues is, speed and noise.
Cause if it is driven by body, and your AF doesn't work. Then it is probably some issue with your camera, but if the AF has built in motor, then most likely the lens.
