LOL, I asked you earlier if you want or not ma. Anyways the lens is alright I think, haven't really tested much.
The chromatic aberration (CA, or called purple fringing) quite jialat at f/1.8 though :S.

hi CY,

the CA on 35mm f1.8G lagi jialat ....Vignetting and Distortions very well control in 50mm f1.8D...it's more sharp than 50mm f1.4D....read some review from internet ..hehe

Simmon, yes even primes have distortions. At different focus range it'll have slight change but not as obvious as those zoom lens.

1.8 sharper than 1.4 I not sure about this. 35mm f/1.8G hmm, I only heard good stuffs about the 35mm f/2D instead.

50mm f1.4 when stop down to 1.8, should be sharper than 50mm f1.8 when wide open at 1.8.

If I recalled correctly, the 1.4G is. Not sure about the 1.4D though.
