Re: Cabin view
Haha I got no to charter the whole plane lar Jonathan...
But do they let u stay on the plane after all passengers alighted the plane?? I thought usually they will be rushing to clean up the plane ready for the next flight? I usually get super excited to get to my destination so I just run out as fast as I can and go get my luggages, cause I can be quite sueh sometimes, my luggages tak sampai lar, missing in airport and such.

My last shot i stay about 5 minutes of photography(i'm not rushing coz is a domestic flight), i even ask permission from the cabin crew to let me in the cockpit for photography
But u r a frequent international traveller, hate to sit in plane luggages tak sampai really frust
Re: Cabin view
Oh wow, I assumed that you've been into the cockpits then? That is really cool! I would like a visit to the cockpit seriously. I've got a couple of domestic flights coming up, maybe I can try..
Yeah I had problems with my bags when I was relocating back from Bermuda in March and most recent trip when I flew to NY to Los Angeles, my suitcase didn't arrive. After checking, they missed mine and it was already on the next flight from New York and I had to pick it up an hour's later from LAX. I was freaked out cause I had no clothes with me and we had a fine dining booked already for the night! haha it turned out after 1hr. US airlines are pretty good in sorting things like that out. Unlike my experience in Dubai airport!

Visiting the cockpit is depending on the captain, some will just reject your request. Cockpit visit has been disallowed since September 11.
What happened in Dubai?
Re: Cabin view
Yeah I knew that take that cockpit thing very seriously after the terrorist attacks.
I was flying from NY-Dubai-KL and due to traffic and weather problems we missed the connecting flight and even had to land in Doha, Qatar until we were allowed to fly into Dubai. Hence, missed my flight to KUL. Apparently the whole airport was at a standstill, ppl were all crowding everywhere waiting to get info to board their planes and such, damn messy and poor management skills big time! They even hid the fact that we missed our flights. I made a real fuss and demanded them to fly me back on MAS instead of emirates and then upon check in I realised all my 4 suitcases were missing! Good thing I asked them to check when I checked in. I got great help from this guy at MAS and after 3 hours they found it and loaded onto the plane. Apparently the whole baggage side were messed up due to the poor weather incident. I told them I was not boarding until they confirmed all my bags were flying with me.
Thank God I managed to come back all in one piece and I didn't even know my flight to KUL had a stopover in Pakistan. Aiyooo Just imagine how tired I was upon landing at KUL. It took me almost an extra day to get home after the 10 hr wait in Dubai. Somemore I almost got robbed there in the airport.
I must have bored you guys with the long winded story. Sorry guys.
