Yes you can...SQ started to fly its shortest route using the A380 to HK.
Re: A380 Cabin View
Can u clarify please? The first post, I assume they are first class? Then the later posts, economy and business class? Wow super nice. I am not bothered about the economy, they all look almost similar. Hehe. Yeah I wanna do a KUL-LON. That would be awesome!
I am also curious, how did u get into those cabins and taken all the photos?
Nice work Simmon!

Glad you love those pics, i got it from www.airliners.net which i'm a photography member there too.
For the A380, each airlines have their own configuration from suite to economy. Air fare for suite can cost up to USD15,000 return for a long route.
During the maiden flight for Singapore Airlines, all air fares were put in ebay for bidding. Of course the money collected goes to charity. During the auction, a winning bid for an economy seat was USD6,000 one-way and suite rocketted as high as USD30,000.
KUL-LON, no way so far that's no A380 landing in KUL yet. MAS will be getting their 1st of 6 A380 in 2011 but still under consideration due to the impact of current slump of economy.
The shortest flight you can take is SQ. HK route were launch last month with this beast. Currently, SQ already took delivery of 9 aircrafts. Other airlines that fly this type of aircraft are Qantas(3), Emirates(2) and Air France taking its first in October.
Do you like aircrafts? We have a group of people do spotting at KLIA quite often. But traffic there just so so only Cheers.
Re: A380 Cabin View
Oh wow. Thanks for the detailed info. Appreciate that. Oh ya now I recalled reading that, so far no A380 that does to London yet.
Err, I don't know if I like aircraft cause I had to fly very very frequent and usually long haul flights and I am getting sick of it and I really dread to when I have to fly. Fyi I was previously working in Bermuda, so it takes me about 38-45 hours just to get from KL to Bermuda. I probably have to change couple of airlines haha.
I actually did some spotting while I was having my vacation last month at the Bermuda airport. Cause it was right next to this awesome beach. But I got lousy photos, I don't know how to take them.
Li ren: my bad. I missed out the pics taken from A.net. I was just too caught up with the photos and I thought he took it from the plane. yeah, so how did they take these cabin photos ar?

Well, i started this tread before the first picture with 'Pics taken from Airliners.net'
Wow, Bermuda...have no idea where Bermuda is Currently where are you base now?
If you like to fly a long haul flight(to London) in this beast, SQ, QF and EK do.
Taking pics in the cabin is quite easy comparing spotting aircraft taking-off, landing and on runway. Some tips here, use aperture priority with the smallest f stop(depends on the lighting), lowest ISO and start shooting
Here's a shot by me : http://photonian.heavenforum.org/aviation-photography-f25/cabin-view-t211.htm
I'm an aircrafts enthusiat, i do spotting and collecting diecast aircraft models. Check out the latest models landed at my airport Here's the link:

Oh but the tip that you mention was to take pics during aircraft taking off/landing is it? Sorry I am really new. Thanks!!
Yes I will definitely check those pics out!
Bermuda is an island right in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, about 2 hrs flight from New York. Its probably further down south from New York. Absolutely beautiful place! I have some pictures taken in Bermuda in my blog too.
I finished my contract there and I left Bermuda in March'09 and back in Malaysia just to chill out. I am not working at the moment, just sick of working and taking a long break and spending time with my family while preparing for my migration to England in 2mth's time.
What about you?

I am a Chartered Accountant, been previously working as an auditor for the past 5 years.
Yeah maybe I should check that out, if they allow me to visit the cabins or not. I am usually too shy to ask. Are we allowed to?
Li ren: you will get your chance soon!! I too had never done much flying but over the past couple of years, its been crazy!! until I get really sien of it. It's really boring especially when u fly economy for 14-19hrs long haul flights. U can go mad!

I see, never know Bermuda is so close to NY. I remember Bermuda shorts, is it originated from Bermuda?
The tips i was referring to cabin shooting. Normally we will do it when the plane landed and wait till all passegers alighted

Yeah Bermuda is pretty close to NY and also places like erm, Boston and Washington DC (they are all 2hr flights). Miami is pretty close too.
Bermuda shorts are adapted from the British army (as Bermuda is a British Overseas Territory), and in Bermuda they are considered appropriate business attire for men when its made of suit-like material or thin woolen material and must be worn with knee-length socks, a proper dress shirt and a tie, blazer is optional for some workplace. They come in dark or pastel shades. Yeah, it was really weird when I first saw them dressed like that but then later it gets pretty cool. They should do this in Malaysia!
Hope that helps!
Re: A380 Cabin View
Guys over there in Bermuda are happy when it comes to summer and they get to wear Bermuda shorts as it gets pretty hot during that time. So I really don't know how the guys cope in Malaysia, I bet it will be freaking hottttt!!!!
Re: A380 Cabin View
