If using for wedding events, can consider the 16-35 f/4 VR! You'll be using f/4 a lot cause group pics to avoid too much of bokeh haha.

16-35 f/4 VR is a FF lens. All the pro lens are built for FF. Except the 17-55 f/2.8 DX.

but f/4 will be hard to decide...

Not exactly, cause you'll be using it to take group pictures a lot. f/2.8 the DOF a bit too shallow might cause bokeh on some. So better use something higher like f/4.

And there's VR to compensate for the shutter speed you lose from f/2.8 to f/4.
