the spider photos really looks cool...another thing Spider webs are a popular subject in photography thanks to their fascinating shapes and delicate structure.Do you guys have a chance finding one?i love to see, especially when the prey on it , struggle to get out or which is dead and been sucked dry.

Thanks james, It's really a good idea for the spider web shooting with predator & pray on it. I can imagine wad kind of impact it will give... From the same day i shoot this macro i hv done some shots with the spider on web but doesnt turn up nice. I would say it's not easy to balance the light while shooting spider web with flash as some of the web might have a reflective characteristic that causes over expose sometimes...

Re: My 1st Macro with 35mm
Fred you are right, flash can sometimes enhance the spider web, bringing out details and making it stand out more from the background. Other times, natural light works best, so experiment with both. i hope i got the chance to go shooting with you i really love ur spider hehehehe ....
Re: My 1st Macro with 35mm
Now James got inspired by all these macro shots, next step i bet he will get a macro lens
