Macro lens....I also wan one o... this 35mm loaned from my friend one then got poisoned after playing with it... But wont getting it too soon.. might 1st get an extension tube for my 50/1.8 temporary...

if the expension tube works fine please let me know.. i want macro but don't have the cash for lens too...

there's many options for macro, extension tubes being one of them. You can also reverse your lens or even stack them. Lotsa resources in the net, find one that suits you. The results are pretty awesome too, flickr has lotsa examples and those guys there shoot better macro with their DIY lens setup than i do with my macro lens. It all boils down to the skills I think.

Yup yup ~! you are right... i hv seen someone using a semi pro with just the raynox doing very well in macro shots. But to me the raynox is still a bit costy and a macro filter is definately not a good choice so will just go and have a try on extension tube. Hehehhe.... Reverse mount is also a good way of getting macro but i dun feel like risking my poor little lens for a spider...
